What is the meaning of the Karma indicator?
It's in the info box of the poster left beside the post?
I have a Karma of 0.
What does that mean?

Apparently users can rate people who post by giving them Karma points.
Let me give you a point and see if it works

It worked! I pressed the exalt button on your side. You had a karma of -1 there. Now it is 0.

Thank you! I saw that I had neg 1 and wondered about it.
If it becomes a negative thing where people and using it in an unkind way - I'll disable it.
Do you think we get true karma points from simply talking and sharing with others?

Do you think we get true karma points from simply talking and sharing with others? I pressed the exalt button again. You had Karma 1, now it is 2. If I press the smite button it may go the other way around, get negative. True karma points... like building positive karma in real life, in the universe, here on Earth? ... eeeh, sure. I think this can help other people. Simply talking and sharing what we know will always help some of the other readers. If we share positive things, things of what we know from our own understanding is good, then others may benefit from that. Some will always have had thoughts and questions about the same things that we talk about. That builds good karma. But it never buys you a free ticket to the spheres of light. |
