The information that spirits share with the active ghost box communicator can be serious, sarcastic or downright funny (Hence the name of this board).
I enjoy listening to other people's sound clips from their sessions.
*Usually the clips uploaded tend to be from the first procedure listed below.
There is an ongoing debate in the validity of using the Ghost Boxes in the paranormal field. Therefore, there are ghost boxers who tend to
*listen to the raw audio with headphones or ear buds, stopping when they hear something that sounds like a reply to a question they just asked. They'll zone in on that bit - clean it up (use a noise filter, slow it down, etc) and export it from the original audio file.
An example of this would be the sound clips that TV shows like Ghost Adventures and Ghost Hunters share on their shows.
Other people want to communicate with the other side to hear from departed friends &/or family members or to talk with the good spirits. This is a bit trickier. Spirits are amazing. They can imbed words into anything. A bird chirping, leaves crunching underfoot, a song playing on your radio - virtually any sound - can be communication - usually it will need to be reversed, but not always.
If you go deeper, it gets even trickier. Audio comes through as vertical lines when you have your sound program set to wave form. Words tend to be together in clumps (again, not always) made up of varying length vertical lines.
Each clump can be examined in a few different ways.
- Listen to it as is.
- Reverse it.
- Or flip half (reverse) so that the end of one group merges into the previous group.
In doing these few steps, you can actually come across full, co-inherent sentences which are created from the 3-4 separate parts that have been reversed &/or merged. And sometimes the entire merged clip can be reversed again to come up with yet another message!
You may have 2 separate spirit voices using one clump of sound - one speaking forward and the other in reverse.
Or the same spirit voice may continue their message (saying 2 separate things) when reversed.
Example:
Forward -
Are you listening?Reverse -
Can you hear me?Very commonly a person's name will be heard - when the name is reversed it will be something entirely different (does not sound at all similar to the name).
I've found that spirits often leave a mark (for want of a better word) at the beginning and ending of each communication segment. When using Audacity I've noticed that there will be a slightly raised, peaked line that will show me what section to select and play with.
These are a few sequence actions used for hunting for messages because there are even more ways files can be manipulated. Spirits can do anything.
