I'll start.  I'm Pine Tree Lady. The spirits mostly call me 'Pine Tree'. They also call me Pine, Bets or Betsy. Occasionally I hear the word 'bitch' but just know they don't mean me.  Seems like I have always believed in Ghosts and spirits. Every house I've lived in has had some sort of paranormal activity. I learned, almost 40 years ago, that you could put a voice activated tape recorder in a quiet basement and you might pick up the voices of spirits talking. I didn't do it. This past Spring I moved in with a dear friend and his two sons. His mother and I were very close. She passed 20 yrs ago. My dogs, bird and I are living in her 3 season room (or porch). Shortly after I moved in things began happening. Lights would turn on and off. A shelf fell off the wall (it had been in the same place since 1988) and a can of butane lifted up an inch off a table and flew across the room to land at my friends feet as we were talking. I decided it was time to try the recorder. I bought a nice Sony digital recorder, turned it on and started asking questions. I got replies! I got names, songs, full sentences. Then, I watched an episode of Ghost Adventures where Gary's deceased teenage daughter speaks at her own birthday party through a Ghost Box (spirits prefer Spirit Box). I wept. My first Spirit Box arrived May 23rd, 2012. It has changed my life; the way I think, the way I feel. The spirits I talk to are extremely smart, loving, sarcastic and very funny. They joke and make me laugh. If you go to my Sound Clips page you can find many humorous exchanges. The most recent was --------- Me: Hey guys I have an antenna now. My name is Marlene. I don't have a nickname. Unless you count all the things I was called as a child because of my name : Mars Bar, Mars, Ene, Mar, Marls, Marney, (my mom didn't really like my first name because my dad supposedly named me and it was after his ex-girlfriend so she called me Denise alot cuz it's my middle name), and so on...  But my name is unfamiliar enough that if I hear it on the Ghost Box I will know it's an actual communication. I have been interested in all things paranormal since I was a little girl. I have seen two ghosts, 2 UFOs and one was clear enough that I can draw it for you, have had dreams that become real (I have shared my dreams with others and have them to verify my dreams ended up happening), I have had heard noises that have no basis for being there, I have seen a pop bottle on top of a television lift up, move out in a straight line, drop to the floor, roll across the floor and then stand up (with another witness), I have had CD players play out of the blue which couldn't be possible without someone manually choosing the CD button and pressing play. Pictures falling off the wall for no reason, lights on and off, doors opening and closing by themselves, and so much more. I have always been interested in communication attempts with the afterlife. However, I have always been afraid to try them. But then, in January, 2012, my mom died of Lung Cancer. It broke me emotionally. I have had people in my life pass away before, and I have been sad, but my mom passing away removed my foundation of life and broke it up in to pieces for me to put back together. I worked on that for months afterward, only to have it rocked again when my step-mom died in early May from Breast Cancer. I started searching for ways to communicate with the afterlife that would keep me protected and my home safe. I found them and decided to get my first Ghost Box and use a program on my computer to do EVP sessions. I have an insatiable curiosity that makes me want to search for answers. Thank goodness for the internet! I found two wonderful groups online that have allowed me to connect with like-minded individuals and learn how to properly use the Ghost Box and EVP program. Not to mention how to "hear" the messages. Practice is what they told me. Which I do every day. Those groups have led me here to this forum. I hope to be able to learn and stretch the connections in my brain enough to make new ones. Not to mention make some wonderful friends.  |

Oh Marlene!  I'm so sorry that you lost both your mother and step-mother so close together and so recently.  I experienced some of what you have. I've never been afraid of ghosts. Yet, recently some of the nasty comments whispered through the Spirit Box creep me out. Do you think they whisper so the Techs and other spirits won't hear them? |

I think I am in a state of numbness, or shock or something. I used to be crying on the drop of a hat. But when my step-mom passed away, I cried at the memorial service, but sometimes I try to "Feel" and I don't feel like I feel anymore. It's extremely strange. But then again, if a memory can still make me cry just not like all the time. It's hard to explain. I keep busy and engross myself in my hobbies (which right now is mainly the GB and reading about it).
As far as the bad talking goes, perhaps you can ask for God to send his Legion of Angels to protect you during your session, to have Him strengthen your bubble of protection with his white light, ask the tech's to double up their efforts on keeping all negative and evil away from the connection, therefore away from you and your home. Pray for God to to send his white light down into your home and envision it flowing through each and every space of your home including closets and basements and everywhere. And lastly, tell every single uttered negative word issuer that they are not allowed to speak and not allowed to come near you or your home and that they need to go where Jesus tell's them to go for Jesus is the one who controls where they go. This is information I have learned about protection from different people and websites. Some who don't believe will say different, but as a believer, I believe this will protect me. In my opinion, even if you didn't believe, what woud it hurt to try anyway?
It is very possible they are doing that, and also what if they are saying it from a distance from the tech and we only hear it as a whisper because they aren't allowed to be closer?
Boy, I hope Rich and a few others join us. We could get some really good convo's going here! Thank you Pine!

I'm Janet, and you already know me from Inside the Box and RTSC. About the only nickname I have is Jan, and I always use JanP on the internet. I like to keep it simple!
So, a little about me. . .I've been doing GBC for about 3 years now, although I have not done much in the last year due to a major life change. I have always believed in ghosts, an afterlife, whatever you want to term it, but had absolutely no experiences with it (even though others in my family did). That changed with the Ghost Box.
I have received some pretty unbelievable communication, and had some unbelievable experiences with it as well. Many people don't think these boxes work, but I know they do!

Yeah Jan, I'm hanging too. Hi, I'm Mogenblue. I found this board through RTSC. I have my own website and forum at www.mogenblue.nlMy forum is just a few weeks older then this forum. In my mid thirties I learned of the books of Jozef Rulof. This changed my attitude about the afterlife completely. It changed from asking into knowing. This University was founded on Earth by Jozef Rulof on behalf of the Masters of Light. Some of the main topics are described on my site. There is a lot more to find overthere. Rulof was a medium for the Masters of Light. He never wrote the books himself. Masters wrote through him. Today his legacy comprises 27 books totalling more then 11,000 pages of spiritual science. Some of his books are called introductory books and they are free available on the internet. Links to those books, to read them online or download them in pdf format, are available on my site as well. Well, I think you can imagine what my main interest is today: my website and my forum. I think I will take up some links to interesting forums, like this one, on my own forum. That makes it easier to my visitors to sweep around on the internet. I find this forum particularly interesting because it deals with Real Time Spirit Communication. The Masters of Light have predicted many years ago that such a machine would be invented. Once people on Earth are ready to accept the Masters they can really make a start with getting in touch with us and change the world for the better. This forum works to the benefit of that. Post Script; I'm also mother to three phenomenal grown daughters.
My oldest daughter is 39, She's the Director of Events and Promotions with The Stranger newspaper in Seattle, WA. She's a incredible single mom to my only grandchild.
My middle daughter is 35 - her most recent gig was 3 years in a hospital trauma unit working as a CNA. She left her heart in the UK and will be going back to claim it as soon as she is able.
My youngest is the manager of a Jeni's Ice Cream shop. She's just 22 yrs old and manages a staff of 17 brilliantly.
There! Now I can tell my oldest I have bragged on her. Lol!

Also lurking. Just registered and joined. I'm 35 going to be 36, soon in November. I'm from the UK. Keen to network and get back into the path, somehow, with an alike minded group of people. I have been on various websites ove the years but lately the path had a bit of a break. I'm sorta content in a new relationship but no idea if its gonna last.
I am aware of energy and also can hear , see and feel more than I should - I have been known to read cards when drawn.
